When The Moon Waxes Red – Negotiating Subjective Terrain as an Inside-Outsider’, an ‘Outside-Insider’ wins NIHSS award

The exhibition and book publication When The Moon Waxes Red – Negotiating Subjective Terrain as an Inside-Outsider’, an ‘Outside-Insider’ by visual artist Sharlene Khan (published by Pole Pole Press), received the award for best Visual Art by the South African National Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (NIHSS) award in a ceremony at Market Theatre in March 2018.
